A fantastic level of service, friendly atmosphere and a great receptionist.
We were there between the 1st and 3rd of May and we were given an excellent room that exceeded our expectations. Had this been the only experience at The Jade I would have rated it 10.
We returned there on the 18th of May for one night and we were given a tiny room on the first floor. I complained to the receptionist since it did not even look like a double bed room and he showed us to another room in the basement. The receptionist remarked that this would be a waste of money for the hotel since we were only there for one night. I considered the remark to be extremely unprofessional and rude, especially since we were at The Jade for the second time in the same month. The room we were given was larger than the first but it was poorly equipped, badly maintained and we were not very impressed with the standard. We had informed the receptionist that we had just returned there following a 10 hour flight and needed rest but the room we were given was in an extremely noisy area since it was in the basement. It was almost like there were people with us in the room. Unfortunately this experience of the Jade ruined the very good impression we had on our first visit.
Staff is nice, Location is good, close to the tube station.
No lift, have to take heavy luggage to up stair. but the staff was nice, help me to take luggage.
hotel needs updating, cracked floor tiles, our shower was dirty
Very good location, 2 min walk from Earl's Court station. Pleasant personnel.
The hygiene standard was very poor!!! Mouldy bathroom, shower covered in limestone residue. Linens were fresh and clean but the blanked had a big dark stain on it. From 3 lamps in the room only one was working and the hair dryer had the plug cut off. Carpet had several stains that looked as if someone had rubbed chewing gum into it.
It was near to Earls Court where I was doing business
I did not get a receipt. And it was very very basic, quite dirty, no facilities.
Cheap & Cheerful. A bit tatty, but suited the purpose on a budget.
Really closer to EARL'S COURT STATION, and the station has a good access to anywhere. Internet access is also good. Staffs are very friendly.
Customers have to have the same menu of breakfast (2 toasts and cornflake with milk and only able to choose coffee or tea, and taste of jam) everyday.
Good, functional and easy to commute. Friendly staff and clean, although the rooms were small.
Comfortable bed, but you could only get in one side
small room, very small en-suite, smelly shower, not a great experience
The location is the best thing, very close to the underground station.
They tried to increase the price. Noisy rooms and rude receptionist. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.
The staff were friendly, the room was clean, a great value for money, and the most important thing is the location, central london on zones 1%2.
The mirror in my bathroom was way too low! I had to sit on my knees to shave or brush my teeth! The cleaners knock once on the door and come inside right away to clean the room without giving you a chance to answer them! And they need to have one of them please dont disturb signs in case you didn't want to wake up early.
Clean room and an excellent overall service.
The staff at reception was nice, friendly and helpful
I found a very dirty room, with hair on the sink in the bathroom, with a towel on the floor and no toilet paper. The bedspread is also dirty. The cleaner will not knock the door and wait for an answer, but she knocked the door while opening. This happened two days in a row, second day being awful, because between 8:00 and 9:00 she was banging the fire door at least ten times, looking for something in the cupboard opposite to my room. She was noisy and disrespectful. At 9:30 she opened the door and said: " 10:30!!! " because this was the time when we supposed to leave the room. The only nice thing was the staff at the reception.
Easy access, bathroom en suite, small balcony at first floor
Breakfast extra minimal and only from 8am to 9 am, no lift, Wifi very poor and too slow to be useful. Single room so narrow it was almost impossible to sit down except on the bed, with a kid bed of 180 cm x 70cm width, no tee or coffee facility. Anyway the hotel will close down on 25th April to be completely refurbish.
